Pioneer Plaza: Bronze Cattle

The City of Dallas donated this former 4.2 acre parking lot to the Texas Trees Foundation to create a park that features dozens of cattle being herded as they once were in this area. The bronze sculptures were designed by Robert Summers from Glen Rose, Texas.

The Texas Trees Foundation claims they own photography rights for this park on their website, so it may be illegal to photograph here. Their website also shows they gave ownership of the park back to the City of Dallas. The Dallas Central Appraisal District website shows the City of Dallas as the owner since at least 1999. So while you should contact the Texas Trees Foundation for clarification, the land appears to be owned by the City of Dallas.

There is limited free parking in this area, but there are a few metered parking spaces for quick access.
